Before operation

• Inspect visible damage, guards, connections and leaks.
• Check alarms and operating conditions against approved limits.
• Record unusual noise, vibration or temperature.

Scheduled review

• Use the equipment manufacturer’s approved maintenance schedule.
• Record inspection date, equipment ID, findings and corrective work.
• Have qualified personnel review service requirements.
